Color: It's All Relative, Part 4: Saturation
Color-ItsAllRelative-Part04.png

After a long delay, this is the fourth episode in a TLR video series on understanding color from the perspective of a digital photographer. In this episode, Mitch considers saturation, how (like lightness) it's relative when viewing a photograph, and how we can use it to draw the viewer's eye to features we want to emphasize.

Thanks for the session. It is well done. I'm getting a clearer idea about color thanks to your efforts.

Latest Quicktime Runtimes

I've had a few mac OS people tell me that they are having trouble seeing this latest video AND others work fine.

This is very likely because the encoding runtime used by Camtasia Studio is more recent than the version of Quicktime in user browsers.

I used Camtasia Studio 7 to produce this video. It was released on April 30 and almost certainly uses the most recent encoder from Apple for Quicktime movies.

I keep my video codecs current. If you can run older videos but find a problem with a recent video, you should download the most recent Quicktime plug-in. Don't rely on automatic updates.
