TLR Tone Enhance

This is a creative image enhancement action set from The Light's Right Studio: a Photoshop action set that makes it easy to adjust the tonal range of your digital images. TLR Tone Enhance is an action set for Photoshop CS and beyond that is also compatible with earlier versions of Photoshop. It is intended to be part of a future TLR Professional Photographic Effects Toolkit.
Some of the effects in TLR Tone Enhance use Layer Set/Groups in Photoshop CS and beyond. All use adjustment layers in order to work non-destructively with your image.
Enhance Exposure
You can easily adjust the exposure of your image in familiar photographic stops. Eight actions take your image from -1 stop to +1 stop in 1/4 stop increments. You can run the actions in series if more exposure compensation is required.

Enhance Contrast
There are five different sets of actions for adjusting contrast in TLR Tone Enhance. Each has three levels. Contrast Boost increases overall image contrast. Midtone Boost limits contrast enhancement to the middle tones. Highlight/Shadows Boost keeps contrast adjustments limited to the shadows and highlights. Punch Blacks and Punch Whites boost contrast in the extreme shadows and highlights respectively.

Dodge & Burn
You can dodge and burn the highlights and shadows in the image easily with the actions in TLR Tone Enhance. The selection tools in the TLR Quick Selections action set are a natural complement for limiting the dodge and burn effects to portions of the image.
