TLR Tone Mask Toolkit

A Photoshop action set for generating tone-based masks, making it possible to isolate specific areas of an image, such as middle tones, 1/4 tones, etc.
Tone masks come in three variants for each of eight ranges: a total of 24 distinct tone masks. The three variants are notch, narrow, and wide. They include progressively more adjacent tones for smoother transitions. The eight ranges include highlights, 1/4 tones, 1/2 tones, 3/4 tones, shadows, high contrast, high key, and low key. High contrast includes both highlights and shadows. High key includes highlights and 1/4 tones. Low key includes shadows and 3/4 tones.
The action set also includes three short-cut actions for generating an entire set of eight masks for the complete set of ranges for the notch, narrow, or wide variations. Optionally, the actions for generating tone masks can also generate selection layers.

Update to TLR Tone Mask Toolkit
This is a broad maintenance release that prepares the action set to support a CS4 panel to invoke its functionality.
The action set remains compatible with previous versions of Photoshop.
This update also add actions to convert the mask into a selection or a layer with layer mask. There is also an action to invert the mask.

I refined the Curves settings for the tone masks. This is the final preparation to support a CS4 panels for tone masking.
