Anyone can start a forum on Flickr! and it seems some are hosted by some award winning idiots who just have to push people around.
I spent all of five minutes on Adobe Photoshop Elements (PSE) on Flickr! today and that's all it took to receive a series of threats and chutzpah from one of the moderators named Doug Cook (aka Gwennie2006, GrfxDziner, and who knows who many other aliases).
I posted a blog about the experience. It incluides a .PDF of the thread because Doug Cook was threatening to delete it unless I change content on my site.

Well, I'm not changing content on this site on the basis of threats from a moderator on another forum.
Given the overbearing moderation, censorship and fradulent use of aliases by moderators for malicious mischief, I cannot recommend this site. Just look at the juvenile taunts and threats on the thread.
Here are other Flickr! forums to consider:
Photoshop Elements 4

Adobe Photoshop Elements 5

Photoshop Elements 8 (PSE)

I urge readers interested in Photoshop Elements resources to visit the other Flickr! forums until Doug Cook is relieved of his moderator responsibilities and the site agree to operate in an open and friendly manner.

that's not your work in
that's not your work in those pics you have in your screen cap. that will really get you in trouble at flickr....everyone of theose images is protected under copyright. you really need to learn some stuff mitch.
that is not right at all. i thought you were a photographer?
Re. that's not your work in
Fair use doctrine. If Flickr! has an issue, they and I will talk and I'll post something else. The review will stay, however.
Be honest and admit your identity as a forum moderator on this forum. You don't like the review. OK. This kind of dishonest behavior just demonstrates why Adobe Photoshop Elements users should avoid your forum and frequent one of the other Flickr! forums.
Just to keep the record straight, here is more behavior from the forum host on Adobe Photoshop Elements (PSE) on Flickr!

its stille here? I would
its stille here? I would really suggest removing that. Like I said those are copyrighted images. The F-18 one with the almost sonic bomb cone is a friend of mine....they don't want there images of your bogus site.
Precise review
I started a thread over there stating my opinoin on this subject. I stated my honest opinoin> was jumped on> the thread was closed.
Why don't you just delete all of this crap from this guy, Mitch?
Oh....that's right, you are a professional with some scruples.
Re. Precise Review
Ric:
Adobe Helper is yet another nom de plume for GrfxDziner.
He pulled the thread from yesterday completely, because he is a coward when it comes to open discussion. That's why I made it into a .PDF. I knew he was shameless.

You were removed from flickr...
Mitch,
I kept the thread, remember. read through your PDF. I left it. Ask your friend when they visited this moring, it was there. Since that time flickr scrubbed your account. Everything you ever posted has been removed....you are not there anymore in any way.
Since the day I joined your forum last year, I tried to help you. You ignored me.
As a side note flickr watches its better groups for spamming. They are fully aware of how that works. They are owned by Yahoo! you now. They are pretty smart when it comes to computer stuff. They don't bother so much with the small quite groups, because they can't be everywhere. The busy ones they watch, like mine. Thats whay I gave you a heads up. I have been there a very long time and I know how it works. You comment about what I contribute is wrong too. I have books, blogs, forums, animation excersies, etc. I have all of it extremely coordinated with tagging of the several thousand examples of my work on flickr.
I know how tagging works, and how it pairs....and the extremely large amount of possible combinations. Tag clouds don't work very well with a single user. They work phenominally with multiple accounts. Do you know what the Fibonacci Numbers are? Do you know about mathematical sequencing?
You need to know how to intricatley manipulate the numbers for the best results. This is only done through multiple users. flickr only allows 200 small size photos for free accounts, as you may know previously being a non-supporting member. Pro accounts have unlimited content and large sizes.
I have several pro accounts that I pay for, again because they need to interact in the tag cloud. My books are totally free and available as direct PDF downloads. They are jam packed with information, and excessive links for more information. I have been building it for almost 10 years. I share it all at flickr. This builds traffic for them, which they appreciate. I support it all myself. I have no buttons or adds, not even google ads....that would be silly seeing how I enjoy Yahoo!s flickr so much.
You should open your eyes, and ears Mitch. When someone tells you that you have a problem. I was not threatenong you, just telling you what was wrong with your approach, and what you needed to do to make it okay. You may have thought you were smarter, and maybe you are, I dunno. But, I have experience, and I was trying to help you out. Have you read my first forum posts I did here a year ago. They were done at 2:30 in the morning. Do you think someone who was not willing to help would spend the time at that hour to reach out....probably not.
I am a very nice person, read my testimonials on my different accounts, check my contacts too....especially at this account:
http://www.flickr.com/people/USMarines
That is the only place on flickr where you can have any sort of commercial link. Your profile was blank. I suggested you fix that too, but you didn't.
so long.
