It is regrettable that this site has been subjected to nearly hourly obsessive posts from a gentleman named Doug Cook. He hosts a forum on Flickr! for Photoshop Elements.
If you've read any of his comments, you can tell we have some disorganized thinking going on.
I have run many forums over the years, stretching back to a BBS with a Commodore 64 in 1983. In all that time, I have banned exactly one person. Another person who was unable to focus on digital photography and instead wanted to obsessively wage a personal hate campaign.
Open forums is something I believe strongly in. So, I am continuing to exercise with restraint and wait for this idiocy to pass.
Rather than seeing more articles get littered with off-topic comments, if you want to reply to Mr. Cook (aka GrfxDziner), I suggest you do it here. Otherwise, let's please refrain (me, too) from carrying on comments with him.
I beg the indulgence of this community. This is the peril of an open forum and it usually ends as quickly as it starts. The benefits of an open community outweigh the temporary disruption of someone like Doug Cook.

ummmmm.
Mitch,
Read your own PDF. You waged the conflict, not me. I asked you politely. You're looking foolish in your own forum. I would delete evrything, before you loose the people that within your forum. They can read and follow the context. You started, and you can finish it. Your choice.
On the contrary
Mr whoever you are, I'm afraid you're wrong, the only 'non combatant' critisism I see is of you, on your site too, oh I forgot you deleted it so no-one could see it, oh dear!
BTW, for the record, please make a clear statement that you did not have 'conversations' with yourself supporting your position using aliases as Mitch alleges.
We can probably establish if you are telling the truth - be careful - if you are guilty it might be better to go and hide and let this mess you've gotten yourself into evaporate.
If you did fake support, your credibility, honesty (and probably sanity) are shall we say compromised? I mean what sort of fruitcake tries to support their position online (regardless of how stong or weak it is) by using aliases to pretend they have support.
Oh no sargeant, I'm not out of step, it's everyone else......yesssss my precious gollum gollum :) :)

you are wrong too, decoboy
I did not delete the thread, flickr did. Take the time to get the facts and become informed before you accuse. I gave Mr. Mitch, whatever his name really is, advice on what was wrong with his post...I was polite. His reply was rude and his actions violated flickr's terms. Possibly, mr mitch thought he was above the rules as his arrogant statement that "if there is a problem, he and flickr will talk". If he spent any time on flickr he would know that they don't talk, at all.
I was extremely nice to him over the yeare, and he was rude after being in my goup for only minutes and breaking all kinds of rules. Those are the facts.
good day.
Hmmm no reply to the actual question
You didn't delete it? Really? and of course you played no part?
Fine we all believe you ho ho ho.
Now for the REAL issue - How come you ignored the BASIC question I asked - i.e. did you or did you not (as Mitch alleges - not I) support you own postion using aliases? BTW, NO-ONE will believe you didn't notice the question.
And, regardless of your answer to this (if we get one) just exactly why did you choose NOT to answer what was clearly the meat of my post. I mean all you had to say is "no I didn't".
I'm posting this to make sure everyone sees that your deafening silence on this most important question will speak louder than any future or past utterances.
I don't need any waffle, either answer the question - or remain silent.
