is he promoting? Himself? Isn't that what you're supposed to do in business? I'm asking, I'm not a businessman. Is he promoting Photoshop. No denying he's a cheerleader for Adobe, but is that self promotion?

I'm not going to go into a long dissertation on why I can't stand this guy.

The way I look at it...offer a real service and the money will come on it's own.

Cutesy wootsey marketing preys on the stupid and the lazy. It may be the way of the world...but a way that I care not for.

This particular article isn't too bad in that regard...it's just that I already have an attitude about this guru.

Guys like Mitch are the salt of the earth...guys like Scott are.................well.....not.

Well, I'm a member of NAPP and I use the Kelby Training site. I'm not sure if that make me stupid or lazy. Probably both.

But nothing Mr. Kelby, or you for that matter, does or promotes get me quite as upset a you seem to be. Life is too short.

I should be the last to ask that we avoid discussions of personilities here. I know, I've done it previously, I understand the urge. ;)

I'd be disappointed to see anyone leave this site over a disagreement about various personalities.

I'll continue t post relevant links to Scott Kelby's resources. Setting any discussion of personality aside, he is well-known and he does provide useful information that many digital photographers find helpful.

I'll be the first to admit, I've learned a lot from his books and his sites over the years. That's enough for me to showcase his resources occasionally.

BTW...I can learn anything he teaches without his help. I donated to this site because it falls in line with my way of thinking and doing things.
