When you create lens profiles, you need separate versions for RAW and non-RAW files. The Lens Profile pop-up menus in Photoshop CS5, Camera Raw 6, and Lightroom 3 will automatically display the profile appropriate to the image's file type.
Be careful! Adobe warns that best results occur when applying lens correction to RAW files. When you apply lens correction to a non-RAW file, you might not always get the expected results. The results can vary, because the data in non-RAW files changes depending on how the file was created. If no profile exists for your JPEG file or you get unexpected results, you can always consider applying lens corrections manually.
