Photography-on-the.net has a quirky URL. The site is low on glitz. It's a site hosted by Pekka Saarinen, and without its active forums, there would be little to recommend it.
Oh, there is database of Web galleries. That's where users can post entries about their online photo galleries. Pekka has prodiced a couple of Photoshop action sets back in the days when RAW conversion was new.
The forums are formally The Canon Digital Photography Forums, but the Canon gear forums are really only four out of 39 forums. There are several subforums (non dedicated to Canon gear), too. I visit Photography-on-the.net for its RAW, Post Processing, and Printing forum. You can find upwards of 100 or more people browsing that forum at any instant. That makesĀ The Canon Digital Photography Forums a great place to ask questions and learn about processing digital photos. There are forums focused on specific types of photography, too. Topics like nature photography, glamour photography, and B&W photography.
The active forums make Photography-on-the.net one of my favorite places to discuss photo editing.
