Photoshop CS4: Essential Skills
PhotoshopCS4EssentialSkills.jpg

Photoshop CS: Essential Skills by Mark Galer and Philip Andrews is an updated version of one of my favorite books oh Photoshop editing skills.

The technical prose is excellent. So are the sample photos and the DVD instruction. This book offers lots of practical, photographer-to-photographer advice.

Readers with basic Photoshop skills will find that Photoshop CS: Essential Skills can quickly give them intermediate and advanced skills. The book includes some basic topics, but the book is weaker in that area and the presentation more rushed as the authors move along to more advanced topics. If you're looking for that very first introduction to Photoshop, this will not be a good choice. On the other hand, if you are new to Photoshop, then Photoshop CS: Essential Skills is a great book to grow into.

Highly Recommended
