TLR B&W Split Toning ACR Presets

TLRBWSplitToningPresets.png

Duotones, tritones, and quadtones use spot color inks and multiple passes on a printer. They are expensive to produce because of the separate plates and press washes. Photoshop has a duotone mode. Printing these images on an inkjet printer results in a pseudo-duotone. These can be very lovely images and nearly indistinguishable from a true duo/tri/quadtone.

If all you want to do is produce a toned B&W print, there is no need to use Photoshop to convert your image to Duotone mode. You can use the TLR B&W Split Toning ACR Presets instead and give your RAW files a fine art tone.

TLR Clarity Enhancement

TLRClarityEnhancement.png

TLR Clarity Enhancement builds on the ideas of Michael Reichmann, Thomas Knoll, and Mac Holberts of Nash Editions. It provides an effect similar to the Clarity slider in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Camera RAW. Hence the name, TLR Clarity Enhancement.

This is a form of creative sharpening that provides a general contrast boost in the middle tones. The result is more "pop" and "snap" for your photos. It's great for reducing the effects of haze.

TLR Color Compensating Filters

TLRCC.jpg

The actions in TLR Color Compensating Filters replicate the CC correction filters used by photographers for many years in the color darkroom. Sometimes called a filter pack, CC filters were used between the enlarger lens and the photographic paper.

The filter effects in this action set are precisely measured. They are designed for specific RGB Workspaces. You will find separate sets of actions for Adobe RGB, sRGB, ColorMatchRGB, and ProPhotoRGB. If you want to use these filter effects with other RGB Workingspaces, be careful to keep the gamma consistent.
